India's Most Prominent Team At The Paralympics Will Play Women's Shooters For The First Time.

Mariyappan from Tamil Nadu lost his leg in an accident with a truck when he was five years old. As a child, Mariyappan loved to play volleyball. His teacher advised him to jump high.

540 events will be played in 22 games

About 4400 players from 136 countries will take part in the Games. The 13-day Games will feature 540 events in 22 games.
