In Ronaldo's Absence, Manchester United Lost To West Ham.

In the absence of Ronaldo, Manchester United, who played in the English Football League Cup, lost 0-1 to West Ham. With this defeat, United has been knocked out of the EFL Cup, also known as the Carabao Cup. Coach Solskjૅr rested Ronaldo.

West Ham will now face Manchester City in the last 16. City beat Wycombe 2-1. The match between Chelsea and Aston Villa was a 1-1 draw. Villa's Cameron Archer scored in response to Tim Werner's goal. After which, Chelsea won 3-2 in a penalty shootout. The ball bounced off the goal post on Aston Villa's Ashley Young's penalty kick. 

Now they will face Southampton.

Arsenal beat Wimbledon 3-0. Leicester beat Milwaukee 3-0. Tottenham won 3-2 in a penalty shootout after a 3-2 draw against the Wolves. Brigitte beat Swansea 3-0. The match between Everton and QPR was drawn 2-2. Everton then went on to win the Sudden Death 2-2.
