In Imran Khan's room, staff discovered a spy gadget

Key Takeaways:

According to Pakistan's ARY News, Imran Khan's prior surveillance attempt has been thwarted. An employee allegedly paid for the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader's bedroom gadget installation.

The former prime minister's room cleaner, according to PTI leader Shehbaz Gill, was bribed to place the spy device. Gill called the crime disgusting and regrettable.

Another employee who witnessed the accused trying to plant the device immediately alerted the security personnel at the Bani Gala area, and the attempt was thwarted. The security team took the accused into custody and turned them over to the federal police.

"Our citizens are being threatened to learn more. Such despicable deeds must be prevented; he continued, according to the PTI leader.

The former Pakistani prime minister claims that his life is in danger, particularly because he was removed from office in April of this year after losing a vote of confidence.

Khan claimed to have videotaped a list of everyone participating in the plot to assassinate him when speaking to a crowd in Sialkot last month. He further claimed that the murderous scheme was being hatched in secret locations inside and outside Pakistan.

Earlier, Hassaan Niazi, Imran Khan's nephew, had declared that any harm to the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would be viewed as an attack on Pakistan, according to ANI.

"Imran Khan's misfortune would be seen as an attack on Pakistan no matter what happens to him. The Handlers will regret their strong response "Niazi mentioned that.

Similar allegations that a plot had been created to assassinate the Pakistani prime minister due to his reluctance to "sell the country" were also made by the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Faisal Vawda.
