About the Event Technology Awards (ETA)
Event Technology Awards are annual awards organized to recognize companies who offer digital and technological solutions to the events industry and enable event organizers to host online events, offline events and hybrid events.
A selected panel of judges analyze all the entries ahead of the awards ceremony and nominate the most favourable entries for each award category. Then, once the People’s Choice finalists are revealed, public voting is opened up.
Now in its 8th edition, ETA 2020 will be hosted on the final day of the virtual Event Tech Live Conference in November. Also, People’s Choice shortlist and opening of the public vote will occur on 1st October 2020.
About the Award Category: ‘Best Pivot from Physical to Virtual’
‘Best Pivot from Physical to Virtual’ is a new category that was introduced this year itself. Owing to the situation caused by Covid-19, numerous event-tech companies supported event professionals in shifting their event models from in-person to virtual, so that they could host online events. This category acknowledges the best of the best.
While this category received a record number of submissions, only the top 18 were shortlisted. And we are one of them!
