Hilary Duff's comfortable and straightforward outfit written by Y2K

We love few things more than clothes, and Hillary Duff has just launched a version that brings watches back two decades.

The actress, photographed filling in on April 28 in Sherman Oaks, California, makes a simple order to look super stylish in fact, her demure look could come straight out of Y2K fashion. That includes two simple pieces that you probably already have in your closet, and if you don't have them, get them ASAP and explore the many ways to use return basics.

Duff is wearing this season's fashion pants: cargo. Her green R13 pants have a roomy silhouette and two roomy side pockets that give them a slightly more modern look. In addition, they're made of a solid yet breathable cotton fabric, ideal for year-round wear, even in warm California weather.

It balances a wider bottom with a fitted black top, a cleverly layered cut that fits into the micro-trend we see popping up. Duff wore her Y2K-style top, but if the weather isn't too sunny yet, just put it on with a jacket, and you're done.
