Guru Purnima 2020: PM Modi says Buddha's teachings simplicity in thought.

PM Modi said buddha's teachings can show the world a way ahead. PM Modi urged the country's youth to follow Buddha's teachings. PM was addressing an event on Dharma Chakra Day virtually. PM Modi conveys to all for getting to all on Asadha Poornima and is also known, Guru Purnima. 

In that spirit, We all pay homage to Lord Buddha. Buddha's 8-fold path shows the way towards the well-being of societies. The importance of compassion and kindness. Buddha's teachings celebrate simplicity both in thought and action. 

Nowadays, the world fights extraordinarily challenges, lasting solutions can come from the ideals of Lord Buddha. Buddha's teachings were, are, and will be relevant in the future. Need of the hour to connect people with Buddhist heritage sites. 

The culture is celebrating Asadha Poornima as Dharma Chakra Day. The day commemorates Buddha's first sermon to his first five disciples. Buddha's first sermon took place in Sarnath near UP's Varanasi.
