Gujarat Students Shine in Indo-Nepal Karate Tournament -2023
Gujarat students showcased their martial arts skills at the Indo-Nepal Karate Tournament from 14th to 16th May 2023. With over 500 participants, 31 students from the Advanced Taefudo Martial Arts Academy run by Shihan Falgun Shah made their mark. They secured medals in various age and weight categories.
Taefudo students managed to bag 6 Gold medals, 8 Silver medals and 17 Bronze medals at the tournament.
India emerged victorious, clinching the first-place team trophy, surpassing Nepal. The Gujarat students' impressive performance brought home several medals. Notable achievements include gold medals by Mann Shah, Daksh Patel, Ridham Pawar, Jhanvi Raval, Hirva Mistry, and Mahi Shah.
Silver medal winners were Hemangi Shakatavat, Manaswini D'Souza, Om Gupta, Shrida Shah, and Nisarg Patel. Bronze medals were earned by Divya Raj Sinh, Heer Raval, Vishruti Trivedi, Dhruvi Solanki, Khushi Sharma, Akshat Dave, Payas Joshi, Adwait Nair, Dhruv Patel, Varun Agarwal, Aniruddh Thakor, Vansh Sharma, Samar Sharma, Harsh Sheladiya, and Pratham Patel.
The students' exceptional performance is a testament to their dedication and the guidance of their coach, Shihan Falgun Shah. Their accomplishments have brought pride to Gujarat and serve as inspiration for aspiring martial artists.
