Visas will not be revoked for stays outside the country for six months. The sponsor limit is also not fixed. Parents can sponsor their children up to the age of 25, which was earlier 18. After the visa holder's death, the spouse and children can remain in the UAE until the residence permit expires.

A person can stay in the UAE without any restrictions for up to six months after the cancellation of the UAE residence permit.
