Gal Gadot says Imagine's video doesn't feel good.

Actress Gal Gadot said the viral video she and several other Hollywood stars shot at the start of the pandemic was "tasteless." The video features the 36-year-old couple with fellow actors, each singing a line from John Lennon's 1971 single Imagine.

Jamie Dornan, Kristen Wiig, and Will Ferrell took part in the stunt widely mocked on social media. Gadot told InStyle she "has all the intent, but sometimes you don't meet the soft focus."

When the video was released, fans criticized it as deaf and embarrassing.

When many people are worried about the coronavirus outbreak, many A-list stars who have recorded videos at their homes say they are out of touch. Best and worst celebrity isolation videos. In retrospect, wonder Woman star Gadot said the video was "premature."

"I called Kristen [Wigg] and said, 'Listen, I want to do this,'" she said. "The pandemic was in Europe and Israel before it came [to the United States] in the same way. "I've seen where things are going. But [the video] is premature. It wasn't the right time, and it wasn't the right time. It doesn't taste good.

"It's all on purpose, but sometimes you don't hit, right?" I felt like I wanted to leave, so it was an excellent opportunity to do so. Amy Adams, Natalie Portman, Mark Ruffalo, Chris O'Dowd, singer Sia, and model Kara Delevan are the other stars in the video. Each celebrity sings a line from Lennon's hit, and the videos are then stitched together.

Podcast host Joe Rogan called the celebrities involved "idiots" to film "all the grandmothers dying." But Belfast star Dornan defended Gadot from critics, saying she tried to "do something good."
