Eva Mendes cries as she says her mother is not doing well at the moment

"He survived in every way," Eva Mendes told her mother during Today with Hoda and Jenna on Friday.

Eva Mendes got emotional when she shared the news about her mother's health on Friday.

Actress Hitch, 48, who starred in the Mother's Day special today With Hoda & Jenna, burst into tears as host Hoda Cott wished the actress a Happy Mother's Day, Eva Pere Suarez.

He added: "He survived in every way, thank you," before he and 57-year-old Cott embraced.

During the meeting, the mother of two spoke about her motherhood—Mendes shares daughters Esmeralda, 7, and Amada, 6, with longtime partner Ryan Gosling.

 I want your baby, Mendes. Added: "But I wanted to wait until I was an adult. I didn't feel it - it wasn't when I met Ryan and fell in love. But even as a woman, she wasn't ready. This is a personal decision for a woman. Then you take risks ... you always take risks. There was always something I had to worry about when I was pregnant. But luckily, I have a healthy pregnancy, and I'm happy to wait."

The Girl in Progress star is not shy about showing her love for Gosling, whom she 1st met on the set of the drama Beyond the Pines in 2012. In 2020, she first shared how her meeting with Gosling fulfilling her wish has changed children. During an interview with Fitzy & Wippa on Nova 96.9, she didn't plan on becoming a mother last she "fell in love" with the actor.
