During Coachella Weekend 2, Harry Styles pulls out Lizzo to perform a One Direction hit

Key Takeawasy:

Lizzo and Harry Styles are a fantastic duo!

On Friday evening, the "As It Was" singer, 28, pulled out Lizzo, 33, to perform with him during the Coachella music festival's second weekend.

Lizzo joined Styles onstage to play Gloria Gaynor's renowned classic "I Will Survive" before performing a duet of One Direction's 2011 megahit "What Makes You Beautiful" with Styles.

The couple dressed in matching pink clothes and enormous feathered coats for their combined performances in Indio, California.

In a TikTok tweet from the same day, the "Truth Hurts" singer hinted that she would be attending the music event. Lizzo captioned the video, "I'm bored otw to Coachella."

Styles invited Shania Twain to play with him last Friday; thus, Lizzo's debut during his Coachella concert came exactly a week later.

He and Twain, 56, performed "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" and "You're Still the One!" at the time.

Styles initially performed the latter song during a famous New York City show as part of his debut concert tour, which featured Kacey Musgraves as the opening act.

"Now I have to tell you," Styles said before performing with Twain, "this lady taught me to sing in the car with my mother when I was a child."

"She also taught me that guys are trash," he said, laughing, "but I will be forever grateful to you for the memories you provided me with my mother."

"I'm [at a] loss for words, I'm a touch starstruck... when I was composing this song, you were only a kid, so it's kind of a dream and extremely surreal to be sitting right here now, performing this song with you," Twain said of performing with Styles.

After a two-year hiatus owing to the COVID-19 outbreak, Coachella is making a triumphant comeback to the desert this year. The festival will be carried over 2 weekends, April 15-17 and April 22-24.

On Saturday night, Styles will be followed by co-headliner Billie Eilish, and on Sunday night, The Weeknd, who headlined the festival in 2018, will play with Swedish House Mafia.

Kanye West was supposed to be the main attraction on Sunday night, but a source told PEOPLE on April 4 that he had opted to cancel his appearances.

West, 44, has had a rough few months, publicly airing his issues with ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her new partner Pete Davidson.

Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Finneas, Phoebe Bridgers, and many more will play alongside the headliners.
