COVID-19 India: 6 month old baby recovers in the battle against Coronavirus; India reports the largest spike in a day with 4213 cases.

In India, a total of 4,213 new COVID-19 cases were reported on Monday, taking the tally of confirmed cases to 67,152. This is beyond the central government's projection of recording 65000 Coronavirus cases by 15th May. 128 new causalities were reported as the death toll rose to 2,206. In such dark times, a ray of hope was provided by some good news of a six-month-old baby, in Gujarat, who successfully recovered from the coronavirus disease. Social Media users celebrated this fantastic news by thanking the doctors for the miracle. 

The video of the baby playing with the doctors cheerfully went viral across the social media platforms. The users appreciated the COVID-19 warriors and coined this as "the best news ". This recovery took the tally of recovered patients to 20,917. Maharashtra remains the most affected state due to the Coronavirus pandemic, reporting 1,165 fresh cases and 49 deaths, the total cases in the state stand at 22,171 and 832 fatalities. 

The government is to discuss on the extension or relaxation of lockdown with the Chief Ministers as the general viewpoint seems to suggest at graded relaxation. A government source said, "Our understanding is that every Chief Minister favours graded relaxation." All the CMs will be given an opportunity by PM MODI in this fifth meeting, a source confirmed.

The global Coronavirus deaths stand at 281000, with over 4 Million positive cases. The United States remains the worst affected nation with 79,180 fatalities and 4,077,594 infections; the United Kingdom is second after reporting 31,930 fatalities, followed by Italy at 36,560 causalities.
