Courtney Cox reveals how Sasha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher helped her boyfriend

During an appearance on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show, Cox opened up about the unconventional and hilarious way Sasha Baron Cohen helped him set up a meeting with partner Johnny McDade.

During an appearance on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show on Wednesday, the 57-year-old Friends graduate revealed the fun way Cohen and his wife played a part in the couple's 2013 relationship.

Cox first told the 68-year-old star that his girlfriend Christa Miller invited Ed Sheeran to his house one night. The Shape of You singer then asked Cox if he could make friends this week - and invited several musicians, including Snow Patrol members McDade and Gary Lightbody, as well as Taylor Swift.

The Shining Vale star also had some famous friends, including Cohen, 50, Fisher, 46, and former star and longtime friend Jennifer Aniston, 53.

"I remember looking at Johnny and saying, 'Oh, wow. This is intense. He's got eyes, and he plays the piano,' Cox said, adding that he told Fisher about his instant love for the musician - who later told Cohen about the whole thing.

Sasha walked up [to Snow Patrol musicians McDade and Lightbody] and said, "Hey! Courtney wants to be one of you on Snow Patrol. And it wasn't you, Gary," the Scream actress recalled with a laugh.

The couple started dating shortly after their appearance and got engaged in 2014; However, in 2015, they ended their engagement. The following year, Cox and McDade continued their romance and went strong ever since.
