Coronavirus UP: Yogi Adityanath going to take Strict action on Tablighi Jamat Quarantined Islamic Patients, Who Misbehaved.

UP government imposes NSA against the patients of Tablighi Jamaat in Ghaziabad.

In response to the letter by the nurses & medical staff that was launched to the Chief Superintendent of the Ghaziabad hospital that alleged that the patients from the Tablighi Jamaat misbehaved with them, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday imposed the NSA (National Security Act) against all those patients. This decision to invoke the NSA was taken after the medical staff complained about the misbehaviour of the Tablighi Jamaat patients alleging that they refused to take medicines & also misbehaved with the medical staff. The letter written by them even claimed that all the Tablighi Jamaat patients would sit in groups despite warnings given to them to maintain social distancing. This led to an inquiry been undertaken against the six patients involved in the act.

The six patients in question had attended the Nizamuddin Markaz event held in Delhi last month. After tracing down many other cases of COVID-19 that were connected to the event, six of these Tablighi Jamaat patients were tracked down in UP & were sent to quarantine facility by the government. Many who attended the gathering in Delhi were identified by the officials in western Uttar Pradesh & were immediately put in quarantine looking at the increase in the cases linked to the gathering across the nation.

Talking about the Ghaziabad case & imposing NSA against the violators, CM Adityanath said “They have not followed the law, they have not followed the system, they are enemies of humanity, what they have done to women health workers is an atrocious crime. We are imposing NSA on them.” He further warned that the NSA would also be imposed on all those who target the police force & harm them.

Even earlier the UP Chief Minister had ordered stringent measures to be taken against any member from the Jamaat if seen violating visa guidelines. Police chiefs of 18 districts were also passed down orders to track all those members who took shelter in the district post attending the gathering in Delhi & if found to initiate proceedings against them.
