Coronavirus Italy: Death rate eases down in Italy.

Today the world knows that the most affected among all countries all over the globe in terms of the number of deaths that have taken place in any country due to the outbreak of the virus COVID-19 is Italy. Since February, the increase in the number of deaths in the country has been in the rise. In fact, till Monday & Tuesday, there were no signs of the death toll slowing down. The lives that the dangerous virus has already taken as reported for Italy passed around 13.2 thousand as of April 1, 2020. Lombardy one of the regions in Italy has been the worst affected up until now. It has recorded not only the highest number of deaths in the region but also the highest number of Coronavirus cases. It is called to be the epicenter of the outbreak of the cases in Italy.

However, Europeans after a very long time can still breathe a sigh of relief as it has been reported that after facing the worst of the pandemic, the death rate is easing down a bit for Italy & the growth in the number of new cases has also seen moderation. On the other side, in Britain & Spain, daily deaths are increasing in numbers & Switzerland, Netherlands & Germany see a slower spread of the virus. Italy which has suffered the highest number of fatalities so far around the world also beating China, notice that the unprecedented lockdown has been quite helpful in lowering the number of fatalities. But, health officials there are also of the view that restrictions still must be continued & maintained for a long time & government officials must also be ready to combat the pressure for reopening economies early.

Talking on the same, PM of Italy Mr Giuseppe Conte announced late Wednesday that they cannot plan to ease down the lockdown yet & declared an extension of the measures for two weeks.
