Coronavirus Global Update: Maharashtra remains the most affected in India; US reports the maximum cases.

This global pandemic has taken almost every part of the world by storm & doesn't seem to slow down in significant parts of the world still. Even after efforts of putting down nationwide lockdown in India, the country seems to emerge with new numbers of COVID-19 cases every day. The latest number of cases & the death toll numbers are nothing but disturbing & at this crucial time for everybody in the world; it's only better to continue self-quarantining & to avoid stepping outside of the home to remain safe.

 

India has passed the mark of 6,000 cases, out of which 166 have died due to the virus & 472 were cured. Maharashtra in India remains the most affected due to the spread of the virus & has till now taken 72 lives & the infected number of patients rises to 1135 out of which 117 are cured cases. Following Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu also registers an increasing number of cases amounting to 738 & Delhi follows suit with 669 cases.



 

Speaking of the global numbers, a total of COVID-19 cases already reached to 1,484,811. And, currently, the US remains the worst affected with the maximum number of infection cases. Following the US is Spain, Italy & Germany. And, the total numbers of deaths globally reaches more than 88,000 as per the data by John Hopkins University.

Tripura, Mizoram & Arunachal Pradesh record 1 case each.



 

And, talking about the US, the country records the highest number of infections with 432,132, out of which New York registers the worst numbers till now with 138,836 reported cases.
