Chris Jenner says washing the car is "like Disneyland" while he and Kylie do "normal things" together
During Thursday's episode of The Kardashians, the couple spent the afternoon grocery shopping and taking their car to be washed, which Chris Jenner said was "one of the best moments I've had in a long time."
Chris Jenner and Kylie Jenner live luxurious lives, but sometimes the more superficial things give them the greatest pleasure.
During Thursday's Kardashian episode, the mother-daughter couple spent the afternoon doing "normal things" together, like shopping for groceries, gas stations, and washing their car.
The couple opted for an activity during the day while driving after Chris, 66, said there was an IHOP in the area.
"Could you take me [to IHOP] right away?" I just wanted to do everyday things with you," Kylie, 24, told her mother. "I just thought that I just wanted to feel normal when I was pregnant."
"I have not been to the grocery store in two years," Chris admits, to which Kylie says, "I have not been to the grocery store in a long time." I want to go to the grocery store and pick up my stuff!"
"It's good for our souls," Chris said, before adding a confession, "I wear a lot of different hats, and two of them are a mom and a manager. I've always been in leadership, so being a mom is the most magical time for me, and I need to enjoy every second of it.
Chris then suggested going to Vintage Grocers - which he called "Malibu's biggest grocery store" even though his fame usually made it "difficult" to shop. "One of the things that made it a bit more private was tricky. I stopped something to the grocery store because the people in the store started taking pictures, and the paparazzi started showing up. It was tough."
However, he and Kylie went ahead with the idea, and as they entered the store, Chris excitedly exclaimed, "Dreams come true!"
Upon entering, Chris seemed intrigued by all that the grocery store offered. "There are little things with sweet potatoes! Who knew they would do that?!" She says. "I just need the experience to verify that. I've been waiting for this for years."
