The Stamford Bridge team's Russian owner Roman Abramovich intends to sell the club.
He has chosen after his nation attacked Ukraine.
"Chelsea, for me, is an excellent fit. I love to be here and adore everything about the club and, hopefully, it persists," stated Tuchel.
"There is now tension but isn't there permanently as a football boss?
"I'm used and prepared to live with it. Of course, various levels, and, I have to be honest, this is quite a level, but I am optimistic and expect things will end well."
Tuchel became Chelsea's boss when he replaced Frank Lampard in January 2021 and guided them to Champions League success the previous season.
"I have the contrary of an issue staying here. I often said that I love performing in the Premier League," stated the German.
"I love being in England and regarding the tradition and passion for sports in general, and for football in certain. It's a fantastic place to be."
Abramovich said he was "giving trustees of Chelsea's charitable foundation the stewardship and maintenance" of the club ere the League Cup final against Liverpool.
He then revealed his plans to sell the Blues before the FA Cup tie at Luton Town.
"I think Chelsea is a powerful club and will stay a strong club," added Tuchel. "Our owner chose to sell the club, but he sells a firm, concrete, and very well organized club on the highest level."
"He was, and is, a very devoted owner who cares about the team, the club, and the performance personally, which is very rare and makes him very unique."
