In an interview with Bustle on Tuesday, singer Attention talked about losing her virginity when she was 21.
Putt, now 30, was playing a small concert in Boston at the time. "This girl came up to me and said, 'Can you sign my boobs?' I thought I felt like a rock star," he recalls. "I never saw him again.
"He's amazing, but sometimes he makes me sad because I want my older version to say, 'Hey, maybe you want to make this a little more memorable,'" she told the paper. The Light Switch artist also discussed the relationship between music and sex while promoting his new album Charlie.
Believing that the two are related, he said, "That's a bizarre phrase, but if you just take instrumentals from my music, I want people to get excited about the frequencies."
Still, Putt explained that he "couldn't have a problem" with music playing in the background during sex because he would be "analyzing" what he was playing.
"I started seeing notes in my head," he explained. In an interview, Putt also opened up about his relationship with TikTok and how the social media app allowed him to share his true self with the world.
"What worked so well for The Weeknd only worked for him and two other artists. I needed to show my personality," Putt said. "I didn't do that because I was surrounded by producers and record labels saying, 'You guys are a big act.' You should go and work on your art for a while."
He continued: "The pandemic has made me realize that I must not do this. I have to do the opposite. I have to demonstrate every step of the process."
