Celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimmons says working with the Trans Wellness Center

"I started this program before I even owned the brand. It's part of me," Andrew Fitzsimmons told news about his partnership with the Trans Wellness Center during his hair product party.

Celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimmons is proud to celebrate Pride Month by raising awareness of the trans community.

At her hair products party on Thursday, Fitzsimons, a renowned celebrity hairstylist with more than two decades of experience, working with some of Hollywood's biggest names, including Madonna, Mariah Carey, Kim Kardashian, Chloe Kardashian, Megan Fox, and Bella Hadid.

"So I started the program at what used to be an LGBT center in Los Angeles, now it's a Trans Wellness Center, which means everything to me because I started this program before I even owned the brand," says Fitzsimmons. "It's part of who I am, also who I am is my brand." "I care about everyone. And there's no point in celebrating my pride if we can't support the most marginalized people," he said. "That's why I decided to partner with the Trans Wellness Center because the trans community needs our help and care."

"TWC offers comprehensive resources and services for transgender and non-binary people under one roof," says its website. A first of its kind, the center's work has been made possible through ongoing support from community leaders and allies, as well as collaborations with other local organizations such as the Los Angeles Children's Hospital, the LGBTQ Center, the Asia-Pacific AIDS Intervention Team (APAIT) and Bienestar Human Services, among others.

At the launch of his hair care product line at the Peterson Automotive Museum, Fitzsimons invited Mariana Madaquinn, a trans activist and program manager, to L.A. Trans Wellness Center to share his story as a community member and how people can contribute to charitable organizations.
