Camilla Cabello may be just as excited about Britney Spears' pregnancy as we are, or the former Fifth Harmony singer may be obsessed with the Canadian tuxedo trend. Still, there's no denying that Britney Jean influenced her latest look. Copying the iconic denim-on-denim-on-denim look at the 2001 American Music Awards might not make Cabello a godmother to a Brit baby, but it will look great at a baby shower.

The Senorita singer wore a very layered look during an appearance on NBC's Today show, which consisted of matching jeans, a corset, gloves, and a dazzling raincoat - all from Diesel. Cabello sticks to the tried and true sweep of light the tilt toward the clear spring sky and the "more of it" trend we're seeing is slowly taking over our Instagram feed. Cabello also wore a full denim puff, adding an extra layer to the denim look.

If Spears and Justin Timberlake ever remake their iconic matching outfit, they'll probably borrow Cabello's oversized blue jacket. Cabello performed a combination of his hits, including "Bam Bam" and "Boys Don't Cry," from his latest album, Family, released April 8. Over the weekend, he sang "Psychofreak" on Saturday Night Live with Willow Smith.

Cabello completed her '90s-inspired look with an ode to this decade's beauty trends, opting for caramel highlights, matte eyeshadow, and apple blush on the cheeks.
