Blake Lively and Jennifer Garner bring a perfect 90s style reminiscent of Rachel Green

Fashion trends from the past decade keep popping up all over Hollywood. We see a revival of 90s and early 2000s nostalgia left and right – from bandeau tops to breezy cargo pants to platform flip-flops – all of which seem to have two things in common: simple and comfortable.

So it makes sense why celeb are reviving one of the nonsensical classic styles in this book. We call this trend The One, where all the celebs are wearing denim overalls because it reminds us of some of Rachel Green's outfits from the early season of Friends.

During the hit sitcoms of the '90s, Jennifer Aniston often appeared in denim overalls, also known as jumpsuits. Remember the episode when Rachel returned her ex-fiancé Barry Farber's ring? She wears a loose pair with bracelets. Iconic. In 2022, denim overalls are quickly becoming one of the most popular styles among A-listers (again!).

In February, Jennifer Garner performs ballet with a comprehensive patchwork partner in her kitchen. Blake Lively opted for dark denim jumpsuits to visit Martha Stewart's ranch. Heidi Klum boldly tackled the trend with designer denim overalls embellished with sunflowers and a smiling face. Jennifer Lopez wore pure white jumpsuits with a nearly bareback in Spain, and Camilla Cabello opted for Coachella jumpsuits – an efficient summer version. Sidney Sweeney recently posted a photo to Instagram of himself wearing a striped jumpsuit while working on his Ford Bronco.

Coveralls have a long history dating back to the early 17th century, designed as functional workwear. As the name suggests, overalls are made to be worn over regular clothes for protection while working. Since then, they have become an element of wardrobe fashion as we know it today, which is still reasonably practical.

They are disposable garments that are easy to wear over a baby t-shirt, bracelet, or whatever you wear underneath. Complete outfits are practically endless. In addition, the style is more comfortable than regular jeans because it is slightly looser at the foot, which is ideal for spring and summer.
