Bethenny Frankel needs Teresa Giudice to sign a prenup agreement before marry.

Key takeaways:

Teresa Giudice is being advised by Bethenny Frankel to be prepared before marrying her fiancé Luis "Louie" Ruelas.

The former Real Housewives of New York City lead responded on Thursday to reports that Giudice has no plans to sign a prenuptial contract with Ruelas before their wedding.

"I may jump through my phone if @Teresa Giudice doesn't sign a prenup @Andy," Frankel, 51, tweeted, tagging Housewives producer Andy Cohen.

After Giudice's recent show on Watch What Happens Live, Frankel, who went through a years-long divorce fight with ex-husband Jason Hoppy, suggested the prenup.

Cohen, 53, inquired about the couple's plans for a prenuptial agreement during the episode. Giudice, 49, responded, "No... I mean, I don't know."

The cameras panned to Ruelas in the audience, who shook his head no when Cohen asked if the two had even discussed the matter.

Gia, the 21-year-old daughter of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star and a bartender on WWHL, queried why her mother would want one in the 1st place. Then Cohen argued that Ruelas must "protect what he has" and Cohen must "protect what she has."

"I mean, if he wants to," Giudice stated, adding, "My father made her sign a prenup, and I didn't like that."

Despite Gia's arguments, Cohen stood firm in his stance that her mother and soon-to-be stepfather wouldn't "want to take anything" from each other. "I understand, but you wrote it down! You simply put it down on paper. They don't like to take anything from each other, of course, "he stated

Giudice and Ruelas met while on separate Jersey Shore vacations. PEOPLE confirmed the couple's relationship in November 2020, and their engagement was declared in October.

The Bravo veteran, who has three daughters with ex-husband Joe Giudice: Gia, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 13, previously admitted to PEOPLE that she's "a little overwhelmed" with wedding planning.

"We had planned to marry in Italy. We wanted to do it [there] because we were originally supposed to marry in Capri. "Last month, she stated. "However, due to COVID, he had to change it. Everything he had planned would take place in Capri."

After that, Giudice came up with the idea of getting married in Capri, which required the couple to "find someone who does all of the wedding planning out there." They're also looking into local options in and around New Jersey.

"If I can find a place around here," she continued, "we'll do it here." "If not, maybe we'll go to Italy, which is something I've always wanted to do."

Giudice believes it's critical that their wedding is all about them and no one else.

"I just want it to be about Luis and me," she continued. "You always manage to make things better while also being unique. So I'm going to do it, and all I want it to be about is us."
