Australian Open to permit up to 30,000 fans to attend per day

Up to 30,000 fans a day will be permitted to go to the Australian Open, Victoria's pastor for sport has reported. 

A day by day swarm limit of 30,000 will be allowed for the initial eight days of the competition, split similarly among day and night meetings.

The Australian Open runs from 8-21 February in Melbourne.
