Treatment includes medicines that paralyze or kill intestinal worms. If an intestine obstruction occurs caused by a large number of worms, an endoscopy can be used to extract them. On rare occasions, surgery is needed. people receiving nematode treatment should be reviewed again a month later. This review involves examining faces for parasite eggs. If eggs are present, treatment should be repeated.
