After allegedly being shot in the leg, Kodak Black leaves the hospital using a walker
Kodak Black has been released from the hospital after allegedly being shot in the leg, and he needs some assistance getting around.
Kodak Black has been released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after allegedly being shot in the leg. On Monday afternoon, the rapper can be seen getting into a black SUV while using a walker and moving slowly, as seen in the video below. Bodyguards surrounded the "Patty Cake" rapper as he climbed into the SUV, which was a wise move given the danger he faced early Saturday morning following Justin Beiber's concert after-party.
According to NBC News, the rapper was one of three victims shot outside the Nice Guy's after-party. According to a previous police report, the victims were a 19-year-old male, a 24-year-old male, and a 60-year-old male. Kodak was taken to the hospital, while the other victims were treated at the scene. As seen in the video, all of the victims, including Kodak, are in stable condition. Kodak Black's representatives did not respond to a request for comment from HollywoodLife.
In a video obtained by TMZ, Kodak is seen leaving the party with a group of friends and associates, including rapper Gunna. A fistfight breaks out as the group stops to take photos with fans outside the event, and the chaos escalates when ten gunshots send the crowd screaming and scrambling.
The motives for the violence are unknown at this time, as it could have been an escalation of a physical brawl. However, authorities had previously stated that the incident had nothing to do with gangs. The LAPD also said they are currently looking for a black male suspect in a press release. The LAPD was contacted for comment by HollywoodLife but did not respond.
Kodak has previously made headlines for his erratic behavior and was even pardoned by former President Donald Trump. He also survived an April 2021 incident in which his bodyguard was shot.
