Adele teases London concert series launch: 'Who's ready for tomorrow?'
Adele posted behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram on Thursday of her preparations to headline the UK Summer Hyde Park Festival... Adele is getting ready to say hello to her hometown!
The 15-time Grammy winner returned to the London stage on Friday to play in front of 65,000 fans at the British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival in the heart of the British capital.
The show will be Adele's first significant appearance since she recorded Adele's One Night Only, which premiered on CBS last November. To cheer her fans up, the 34-year-old singer shared behind-the-scenes photos of her prep on Instagram with the caption, "Who's ready? for tomorrow!?"
Adele's fans were just as excited when she saw her casually practicing the set in a black hoodie and sweatpants.
Adele will direct the first weekend of the summer series at Hyde Park and is scheduled to begin her appearance on the Great Oak Stage at 8:20 p.m. According to MSN, their set is expected to last at least two hours. Fans of the "Easy on Me" singer have been waiting to see him perform live after he decided to reschedule his weekend in Las Vegas with Adele in January.
Adele spoke to fans devastated after her decision and even FaceTimed some of them from inside Caesars Palace Casino, where the show will take place.
During the call, Adele told fans she would be giving them free merchandise and offered a meet and greet when her residence finally returned. Adele also apologized to fans with a note written in lipstick on the mirror at her thrift shop at Caesars Palace.
The message read: "Hey guys! I'm so sad that I'm not with you tonight. But I know some of you are already here, so please come and look at the outfits and take any pictures you want. For ourselves and one another!"
