Actress In ED's Office: Jacqueline Fernandez's Connection In Money Laundering Case.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been interrogating the ED (Enforcement Directorate) in Delhi for five hours today, August 30. Jacqueline's statement is being taken in the money laundering case. The case is linked to Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Sukesh was charged with money laundering.

Who is Sukesh?

Sukesh Chandrasekhar, accused of extorting the enormous ransom (Rs 200 crore) from Tihar Jail since August 20, and film actress Leena Paul's Chennai-based bungalow were raided by the ED. ED East seized a lot of cash and 15 luxury cars during a raid on Sukesh's bungalow on Coast Road. Not only this, the value of this bungalow is estimated to be in crores.

200 crore ransom case

Recently, Sukesh took a ransom of Rs 200 crore from the wife of a prominent businessman inside Tihar Jail. As a result, several Tihar Jail officials, including RBL (The Ratnakar Bank) Bank, were arrested. The ED also interrogated Lena along with Sukesh's close associates. Sukesh's particular cell arrested him in a ransom case.

Sukesh is accused in the Simbal case and has been in jail for a long time.

Earlier, police sources said that high profile cheater Sukesh was also in jail in contact with prominent people in business and collected money by phone and claiming to have settled the case in the Supreme Court and the High Court. Several officers connected to the prison system came on the radar after mobile phones were found in prison.

It may be noted that Sukesh is the same person who took Rs 2 crore from AIADMK (All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam) Deputy Chief Dinakaran and promised to give him an election symbol. The crime branch arrested Sukesh after the case was revealed. 

Dinakaran was also arrested after questioning Sukesh.
