According To The Court, Buzzie Malone Beat The Man In Self Defense.

Key Sentence:

  • The jury heard that rapper Buzzie Malone beat up two men in self-defense after telling them about a break-in at his home.

The 30-year-old artist told Manchester Crown Court that her partner and neighbors had called her to tell her that her house would be "remodeled" on 9 September 2018. The artist, who goes by the real name Aaron Davis, said he was nervous about driving home and believed he was "in an unstable situation."

He is accused of breaking the jaws of two foreigners in the incident. The rapper has denied two charges of aggravated assault. Earlier, the jury was told how a teenage girl and her friends decided to visit Mr. Davis's home and chased them away when they fled the area that same day. The girl's father said he received a call from his "scared" daughter, who could not be identified for legal reasons.

"Disturb"

He and two others visited Mr. Davis, who was away at the time, to find out why the children were so angry. The court learned that on arrival, Mr. Davis saw his neighbor Paul Potter "as if confronted" with two men outside. The rapper said he came to see Mr. Potter because he was worried about his safety.

Mr. Davis said, "Then I asked Paul, 'Is this the boy who broke into the house?' And as I said, one of the men came to see me. "I backed off when he came up to me, and on reflex, I hit him," the rapper told the jury. Mr. Davis continued, "His friend got out of the back of the van and attacked me, and I hit him.

"Everything happened very quickly. I know these people are not interested in talking." A witness told the court that Mr. Davis kicked the man in the back of the head "like a soccer ball." The rapper told his lawyer Gordon Cole QC that he did not take any further beatings or kicks at anyone.

Davis also denied tracking the youths in his car, saying it was not meant to intimidate them but rather "motivate" them to stay away from his property. The case continues.
