A good diet, an active lifestyle, and exercise: find out how to reduce the risk of blood clots in the brain

An artery clot in the brain is called a stroke, and people with a blood clot in the brain may experience vision or speech problems, seizures, and general weakness.

Blood clots are a severe condition. This is a semi-solid mass of blood that forms in your body. Coagulation is essential to prevent excessive bleeding if you are injured or cut. However, if too much clotting occurs, it can be dangerous or fatal. Blood clots also called deep vein thrombosis, are more likely to occur in immobile people who recently had surgery or an injury.

It can appear on the arms and legs, heart, brain, and other essential body parts. Sometimes this is the leading cause of stroke. A stroke can be devastating for the person affected and the entire family. This uncomfortable situation can lead to premature death and lifelong disability.

In India, the incidence of stroke is estimated at 119-145 per 100,000 population, and we see 1.44-1.64 million strokes per year.

There are two different types of blobs:

Arterial clots: This clot block oxygen from reaching vital organs and can lead to various complications such as stroke, heart attack, paralysis, and severe pain.

Venous clots: These form in the veins and usually dissolve over time.
