All of Facebook's services were down for hours around the world on Monday. Aside from Facebook's service, Instagram, WhatsApp, US telecom companies such as Verizon, At & t and T Mobile were shut down for hours. Facebook's downfall has also hurt co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg personally. 

His net worth dropped by about 7 7 billion (Rs 52,212 crore) in just a few hours, and he slipped one place to the list of billionaires. The shocking revelation is that a 13-year-old Chinese hacker hacked WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. The name of this hacker is Sun Jesus. A Reuters report has revealed this.

Zuckerberg reached 5th place in the Billionaire Index

According to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, this caused his net worth to drop to 12 122 billion and Bill Gates to 5th place. Earlier, he was ranked fourth on the list. Their net worth has fallen by 19 billion since September 13 this year.

Shares of Facebook fell 5 percent.

In the meantime, Facebook's stock has started selling heavily in the US stock market, and the share price has fallen by 5% in a single day. The stock has fallen 15 percent since mid-September.

All of Facebook's services in the world were down around 10 pm on Monday, according to Indian time. Apart from Facebook's favor, the benefits of Instagram, WhatsApp, US telecom companies like Verizon, At & t and T Mobile remained down for hours. However, after being down for about 6 hours, these apps have started working partially again.

More than one crore users complained.

The outage problem persisted for many hours, with people unable to send or receive messages. The problem was caused by the company's server going down. According to outage tracking company owndetector.com, 1.06 crore users worldwide complained of service outages.
