Neither of the surviving northern white rhinos on Earth a mother and her female offspring will carry a baby to term, therefore scientists wish to implant the embryos into southern white rhinos instead.

In The last male northern white rhinoceros, named Sudan, died in Kenya's Ol Pejeta Conservancy in 2018. The northern white rhinoceros once wandered through east and Central African Republic, however, like different rhinoceros species, its numbers plummeted because of serious preparation.

Northern white rhinos - currently the world's most vulnerable craniate - have hairier ears and tails, ar shorter and stockier and have completely different genes than their southern cousins.
