TV host Richard Madley says he's "excellent," but I'm a star... So get me out of here! After he was taken to the hospital. ITV medics entered the camp at Gwrych Castle in North Wales Thursday morning and called an ambulance.

Madley posted on Thursday online: "I felt almost uncomfortable in the early hours of the morning and was taken to hospital as a precaution." Now he has to leave the show because he burst his Covid safety balloon.

The 65-year-old said he had "the time of my life" on the program and was "drawn" by the opportunity to rejoin but stressed that "the safety of all roommates is a top priority." He wrote: "I'm so happy to see your journey continue… all the more so with the prospect of being in a slightly warmer place than Gurich Castle.

A statement from the show read: "Our strict Covid protocols mean Richard has, unfortunately, had to leave the show as he is no longer in the bubble that celebrities create when they enter the castle.

An ITV spokesperson said earlier Thursday: "Richard was not feeling well in the early hours of the morning and was immediately seen by our medical team on the spot.

Welsh ambulances announced at 05:43 GMT that they had been called for "emergency medical care" at Abergele Castle, Conwy. "We sent medics by ambulance and ambulance to the crash site, and a patient was taken to hospital," they said.

In response to the news, Madeley Good Morning's UK colleague Susanna Reed tweeted, "I'm sending love - I hope she's feeling well now. He did a brilliant job with #IACGMOOH and supported everyone. Get well soon, Richard.

Details about his illness are unknown. This happened the morning after she pushed her head down the drain with rotting fruit and vegetables during the procedure. In the Castle Kitchen Nightmares quest, he searches for ten hidden stars in a kitchen "full of castle creatures" after a public vote.
