Who is Pooja Sachdeva?

Pooja Sachdeva was born and raised in Haryana, India, studied science but went ahead in doing her graduation and post-graduation in mass communication. She confesses that her journey was filled with several struggles when she started earning at the naive age of only 17. She was always active in literary events and, after her 12th grade, began with hosting events as an Emcee, which she continued for five years. Apart from managing her studies, she did her part-time job, where she earned immense knowledge and experience. In 2019, when Pooja Sachdeva moved to Hisar, she got the opportunity to take her career a step ahead and emerge as a reputed anchor in the town.

The journey to becoming a prominent name in the industry.

What began as her hobby for hosting events at a young age soon turned into her full-time profession. Pooja Sachdeva honed her skills each day and gathered as much knowledge as possible to place her best foot forward to create a successful career for herself. After the many hardships and competitions, she faced along her path, she kept learning and began with hosting shows for brands like Magma, PNB, Eichers, Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, IFB, INTEC and many others. She realized she was great at writing articles as well and this got her articles published in Dainik Bhaskar and Jagran multiple times, for which she was also honoured by the Governor of Odisha.

During her MSC, Pooja Sachdeva reveals that she got placed for Zee News during a campus placement, but for her quest to become an anchor, she left it within a few months. For becoming one, she joined Janta TV. It was tough for her to switch from entertainment to news, but her passion kept her going and she aced the anchoring game. Later, she joined Khabar Fast as a Prime-Time anchor and producer, where today, she hosts debates and discussions. Pooja Sachdeva is known for being spontaneous, quick-witted and one of the youngest anchors in the industry.

Working strongly towards her visions.

Pooja Sachdeva wants to work relentlessly towards bringing about progressive social change by getting deeper into the truth and showing it to the world as is. Even amidst the pandemic, many journalists like her are on the ground. She wants to give out her message to everyone that, as journalists, they are going to the office so that people can be at home and know the current happenings around them. She urges people to stay at home and be safe.
