Reese Witherspoon's daughter, Ava Phillippe, managed to pull at our fashion heartstrings with her ultra-girly festival look. The 22-year-old social media personality posed for photos in the Ornella dress by Loveshackfancy, a prim and proper white prairie dress with gorgeous floral embroidery and delicate lace trim details, at Rachel Zoe's annual Zoeasis event in Palm Springs. Her modest ensemble was a breath of fresh (spring) air compared to other festival-goers dressed in more skin-baring outfits to beat the heat.

Phillippe added an edge to her light and airy ensemble with crisp white ankle boots, colorful round sunglasses, layered gold necklaces, also a studded white leather belt. We can't help but think that her famous mother gave her the thumbs up on this head-to-toe look, and now we want one just like it.

Breezy prairie dresses are everywhere right now, so if you've been waiting for a sign to pick out a some styles for the summer months ahead, this is it. Phillippe joins other celebrities such as Mandy Moore and Nicky Hilton in resurrecting this Southern-inspired trend. 

This Astr the Label dress from Revolve, like this versatile babydoll style from Abercrombie, is a very convincing dupe of Phillippe's design for a fraction of the price. We found several attractive options in both prints and solid colors on Madewell, but this Express eyelet dress with the sexy cutout back may be our all-time favorite find.
