"Katie is having a blast with Bobby," an insider told the news about Katie Holmes' romance with the beautiful Bobby Wooten III.

Katie Holmes and her boyfriend, musician Bobby Wootton III, have taken their relationship to the next level.

A source told news in this week's issue that Wooten has spent time with Holmes' inner circle, including Suri, her 16-year-old daughter, and ex-husband Tom Cruise.

"He met his family," says an insider from the composer, who currently plays bass on the Moulin Rouge! Broadway Musical.

"Katie had a great time with Bobby," the source added. "He was so kind and happy. He made him laugh." Holmes, 43, and Wooten, 33, first sparked a conversation about the budding novel when they were seen kissing and holding hands while strolling Central Park in New York City on April 28. They also took the subway also visited the Guggenheim Museum.

Dawson-Star Creek's mother accompanied them for an afternoon walk. He is seen hugging Wooten in a photo.

A month after meeting, the pair made their red carpet debut on May 26 at the Moth's 25th Birthday Gala at Spring Studios in New York City, where Wooten met colleague (and former Talking Heads vocalist) David Byrne to present the award. Earlier this month, Holmes took Wood on a date at the Tribeca Film Festival, where Alone Together, the film he wrote, directed, and starred in, premiered. They both looked adorable on the red carpet, holding hands, laughing, and hugging while posing for photographers.

Wooten recently played at Coachella with Carly Ray Jepsen. He is also a former Grammy Award nominee, an assistant teacher at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and a Chicago native - transplanted as Midwestern Holmes who grew up in Toledo, Ohio.

A source told news of Wooten in April: "He's a fantastic person, so friendly, so talented, and just a cool guy in every way.

"He's a very skilled bass player and musician and is cool, brilliant, and funny," the insider added.

Holmes was married to Cruz for six years before they split in 2012.
