Reliance jio has officially launched its jio meet video conferencing service in a bid to take on the likes of zoom google meet and Microsoft teams. The HD conferencing app has been available for beta users for over a month now and has finally been rolled out on google play store.
As well as for desktop users jio meet offers an unlimited number of free calls to users. That can last up to 24 hours and supports as many as 100 participants at once the app interface has a striking resemblance to zoom and offers.
Similar features including the ability for users to join a meeting without having to sign-in users can simply use a meeting ID or a personal link name to join a meeting. The enterprise-grade host controls feature password protection for meeting screen share option a waiting room and support for multi-device login among others.
