Amitabh Bachchan, on Friday, on his social media, paid tribute to his co-stars
Sridevi and Irrfan, marking the anniversaries of films Khuda Gawah and Piku on
8th May. Khuda Gawah and Piku completed 28 years and five years, respectively.
In the throwback post, he shared a picture collage; the upper half belonged of
his 1992 film, Khuda Gawah and the lower half had the still from his 2015's
Shoojit Sircar directed film, Piku. He tweeted, "28 years of Khuda
Gawah... 5 years of Piku... Today May 8... and in remembrance of the two
that have left us."

Amitabh
was disturbed by the recent passing of actor Irrfan Khan, who was suffering
from neuroendocrine tumour and described him as an "incredible talent and
a gracious colleague". Big B also shared sweet memories of Deepika
Padukone and Irrfan Khan in the film on his blog.
Portraying
her daughter in the 2015 hit, Actor Deepika Padukone also remembered Irrfan on
her Instagram, sharing a video from the sets of Piku, in which Irrfan Khan and
Deepika Padukone are seen playing Tennis. "Please come back!
#irrfankhan", she wrote on her Instagram. Deepika also dedicated a song to
Irrfan, from their film by writing its lyrics "Lamhe Guzar Gaye" on a
picture she shared, remembering the journey of the film. "Rest in Peace my
Dear Friend", Deepika wrote, at the end of the post.

Deepika
was set to star with Irrfan in Vishal Bhardwaj's next film. Irrfan's last
release was 'Angrezi Medium', a sequel to his hit 2017 film 'Hindi Medium',
sadly passed away on April 29.
