After a TV reality show contestant Vikas Pathak’s post on social media, which had a scene wherein sexual activity was shown among the characters of which one was wearing the Indian Army’s uniform. This scene is from a web show produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor and created a massive stir on the internet as netizens deemed it unacceptable and a disrespect to the Indian Army.

Ekta Kapoor has finally opened up on the matter and revealed that all the objectionable scenes have been deleted and also apologized to those whose sentiments were hurt due to her web show. Ekta said that she understood the Indian Army’s displeasure and apologized for it but what she didn’t understand was the cyber-bullying.

Ekta Kapoor became a victim to the Cyber-bullying:
Ekta Kapoor said,” A gentleman has openly put a rape threat on the social media platform, this is now no longer about the Army or the sexual content because the irony of it is you are saying that you want to rape a girl and rape her son, her 71 year old mother for making sexual content, means sex is bad but rape is okay?”
Ekta further added,” Respecting the Army is what I do; it was a mistake on our side which we rectified. Now, I have decided to take the route of actually standing up to the cyber-bullying. If they can decide to take my nudes out, put out the nudes on the net, call me r****, then tomorrow they can do this to any girl.”
Ekta highlighted the need of standing up to cyber-bullying as it can really affect your mental health. She called out the bullying netizens and stated,” you want to rub my nose to the ground? Well, you are not getting a chance.”
