Dr. Twinkal Patel, well-known for conducting and supporting various drug abuse and mental health awareness issues and social entrepreneur among the youth, met Cabinet Minister Smriti Irani and Ram Madhav sir, a social & political leader, at a meet-up. Dr. Twinkal is also a keen supporter and driving force behind several activities promoting women's empowerment and health issues in rural areas.
Smriti Irani was invited to a meet-up organised by Young Indians (Ahmedabad). It is a non-profit organisation launched in October 2006. The organisation presently has young achievers, entrepreneurs and students of renowned institutes of Ahmedabad. Smriti Irani was welcomed with thundering caps in the house. She talked about women empowerment and how women need to be ready to pay a special prize if they aim to be independent.
Dr. Twinkal Patel, as a member of YI, Ahmedabad, extended a salutation to Smriti Irani. Sharing her experience of meeting with Smriti Irani, she stated, “ I was extremely honoured to meet the most powerful and dynamic personality. Smriti Ji is an icon, idol, and inspiration for women of the entire nation. “She further added that she took a lot of takeaways from Smriti Irani’s life by having conversations with her. “She is one of the most empowering women I’ve ever met!” Dr. Patel exclaims.
Dr Twinkal Patel is always committed to contributing toward creating awareness about drug abuse, women empowerment, mental health awareness and its impact on society. Moreover, she is a Green belt life coach & clinical psychologist, a drug abuse awareness speaker with NCB, and a health and wellness speaker at NSS. So she keeps conducting seminars on burning issues, including mental health issues, drug abuse, environment and ecology, and women's health, in collaboration with Motherhood Foundation, and strives to improve society.
