Since the time the pandemic named COVID-19 entered India,
many ‘memers’ came out to create more memes daily & spread a little
laughter among people of the country in these tough times that the nation faces
currently. Also, the virus is deadlier than what it seems as it has already
taken many lives all around the world & the number of cases also seem to
increase each passing day in most parts of the world. However, sometimes it is
ok to sit back & enjoy a meme a day, it just gives you a reason to smile
& laugh a bit.
The recent meme in the form of a clip from Shahrukh Khan's
blockbuster film 'Main Hoon Naa' went viral as Mumbai Police was in top form
again to share a bit of laughter & at the same time also spread the
awareness of the life-threatening disease. Known for their wittiest tweets that
always have a message behind it for the people, this time too the social media
team of the Mumbai Police came out with something quite hilarious & quirky
to spread the word about the pandemic to all to encourage them to keep wearing
the masks & to help prevent the virus contraction.
The Twitter handle of the official Mumbai Police shared the
post which is a 13-second clip from the 2004 film that shows the actor doing a
stunt inspired from 'Matrix' arching back to save himself & avoiding to get
being spat on by Satish Shah. The tweet read, “@iamsrk wouldn’t need to do such
stunts any longer — Mask Hai Na!”

The aim of showing the clip from the movie is to tell people
that they can save themselves from getting infected by the virus by choosing to
wear masks without the need to do any stunts just like SRK attempts in the
clip.

Since the time the clip got shared on Twitter, it went viral & garnered a lot of praises from many users. A user said, "@MumbaiPolice bhi puri filmy hai." Another user said, "Hahahahhaha! Even at this hour @MumbaiPolice hasn't failed to tickle my funny bone!” The post has already received more than 400 retweets & 1,000 plus likes.
Another tweet by Mumbai Police also recapitulated on the
need to use hand sanitizers, masks & on the need to stay home.
