On the night after Money in the Bank PPV, The Man, Becky Lynch on WWE RAW, relinquished the WWE Raw women's Championship to Japanese wrestler Asuka and announced the good news of her pregnancy. This huge announcement was heavily emphasized across all social media platforms since the last week. Before Becky could begin, Asuka, The Money in the Bank winner came out to the ring. Becky talked about Asuka winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, which guarantees a WWE Title shot, before opening the briefcase to reveal the RAW WOMEN's Championship inside it. Lynch further revealed that Sunday night's Money in the Bank match was actually for the Raw Women's Championship and that she is relinquishing it as she is pregnant.

In a moment of genuine emotion, Lynch said to Asuka, "I can't fight anymore but you can," before breaking the pregnancy news saying, "You are the champion... You go be a warrior because I am going to be a mother," and broke in tears, the two arch-rivals then hugged. In the most dominant run in the women's wrestling, Asuka was the only one who Becky found it very difficult to go by. 

Asuka previously had defeated her and even in Becky's reign, she came the closest to defeating the Man. Congratulatory messages poured in after Lynch's announcement, her colleagues, friends and fans unanimous in wishing her the best. Seth Rollins is Becky's fiancé and fans worldwide have sent their best to the couple.
