As an early task under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the Orange Line was built by China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. what's more, China North Industries Corporation and was worked by Guangzhou Metro Group, Norinco International, and Daewoo Pakistan Express Bus Service, reports Xinhua news organization.

He included that the starting of the Orange Line will significantly improve the traffic conditions in Lahore. 

The Orange Line covers a sum of 27 km separation and has 26 stations including 24 raised stops and two underground stations. Around 27 arrangements of energy-sparing electric trains, each involving five completely cooled carts, with the working rate of 80 km for every hour, will give an agreeable, secure, and affordable making a trip office to 250,000 travellers every day.
