Mini IPL will be seen in the South African league, most of the teams have bought IPL players in this league as well.

The T20 league will start in January-February next year, with 6 teams bought by IPL franchises.

A new T20 league to be launched in South Africa in January-February next year will see a mini IPL. All the teams in this six-team tournament have been bought by existing IPL franchises. Even in the player auction processes held on Monday, teams have largely relied on players they are playing with or have played in the IPL before. A team was allowed to include 17 players in its squad, of which 7 players could be foreign, while 10 players had to be selected from South Africa.

The South Africa T20 league will see many foreign players playing for other teams instead of their IPL franchises. 

Pretorius, Klaasen, Rabada, Dusen, Rashid Khan, Sam Curran, Livingstone, Ngidi, Morgan, Jason Roy, Stubbs etc will be seen in different teams.

All these players have played in IPL and now they will also play in South Africa T20 League. Par Royals, owned by Rajasthan Royals, have trusted their IPL player the most. The franchise captained Devil Miller and included Jos Buttler, David Miller, Tabrej Shamsi, Obed McCoy and Corbin Bosh in the squad.
