Former Love Island Contestant Demi Jones has announced that she is cancer-free. The 23-year-old reality star was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May and shared the latest news with fans on Instagram. He wrote, "No cancer! I did it! I returned a full body scan, and there is not a single cancer cell left in my body."
Demi, who appeared in a series on the ITV show in 2020, shared her photo outside Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth. He wrote: "It has been a challenging year for me mentally and physically with my surgery and treatment, but I am so grateful for your kindness and support over the past year.
I will continue to work for cancer awareness, and all my love and strength go to those who continue to fight against that disease. It's a healthy and happy 2022
Demi's Instagram followers have been getting updates from her since discovering a lump on her neck in early April.
Demi entered the Love Island mansion on the 16th day of Love Island 2020 and reached the finals, finishing third with Luke Mabot, who she worked with on the show. Since then, they have separated. She advises anyone to see a family doctor for a lump in the neck that stays there for more than a few weeks and isn't related to a cold, cough, or sore throat.
