Visa rules have been
relaxed for those wishing to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for work or
residence. The new rules are going to be implemented from Monday. Under this,
no host or sponsor will be required for long-term visas. The reason for the
change in visa rules is to allow inclusion of managers and experts from
engineering, health, education, technology and business sectors. The UAE has a

• What is a 10 year golden visa,
what are its benefits? The UAE has changed the long-term residency i.e. golden
visa rules. This will allow any foreigner to live, work and study in the UAE.
Visas will not be revoked for stays outside the country for six months. The
sponsor limit is also not fixed. Parents can sponsor their children up to the
age of 25, which was earlier 18. After the visa
holder's death, the spouse and children can remain in the UAE until the
residence permit expires.
• What is a five-year
multi-entry tourist visa? This visa allows a continuous stay of 90 days in the country.
Before applying for this in the bank account Rs. 3.26 lakh has to be
deposited.
A 5-year green visa can
stay for up to 6 months after the permit expires
This visa will be
given to skilled professionals, freelancers, investors and entrepreneurs. For this
there will be no need to be sponsored by any applicant. Apart from this, family
members can get other facilities including residence visa. A person can stay in
the UAE without any restrictions for up to six months after the cancellation of
the UAE residence permit.
