According to figures released about the Vadodara Municipal Corporation, the total number of corona positive cases in Vadodara city and district reached over 72,055. The official death toll to the Vadodara district has see stable at 623. 

A total of 71,413 people have beaten the corona so far. In the last 36 hours, two new cases of the corona were reported in Vadodara city. Both the cases were reported at Vasana Road in the western zone of the city. 

Currently, 19 patients in the city are under treatment for corona.

To date, more than 72,000 cases have been reported in Vadodara. However, currently, 19 patients in the town are under active treatment of corona. Of which only one patient needs oxygen. The city’s two largest government hospitals, Sayaj and Gotri, do not have a single corona patient. On the other hand, the corona reports of the patients coming to this hospital are adverse. Three patients were discharged.

The amount of vaccine did not arrive from the state on Wednesday.

The amount of vaccine not given by the state government on Wednesday was 9010 people vaccinated in the city on Thursday as per the distribution made on Tuesday. 

According to health department sources, the number of vaccinations will increase if the quantity arrives on Friday. According to vaccinations on Thursday, a total of 7,637 people in the city received a second dose of the vaccine. While 51.97 percent of fully vaccinated people received both doses of the vaccine, an additional 50 percent were vaccinated for the following third wave.
